Abstract Painting with Becki
Following the success of our Watercolour Workshop in March, Becki Clark is back for an abstract gouache workshop exploring floral inspiration from May.
Taking place on Saturday 10th May, the workshop will begin with exploring the gouache paints. Becki will take you step by step through how to create a colour palette that reflects your inspiration, working through how to mix the gouache paint and create different layering effects with application techniques. We will then use the shapes and colours from our seasonal inspiration to explore painting in a free-flowing abstract style. Becki will be on hand with tips and tricks to layer the paint, create movement in your paintings and add details with texture.
Enjoy a glass of bubbles on arrival, followed by homemade scones with jam and cream, with tea and coffee available throughout. The workshop is designed for beginners and those interested in seasonal living and includes your own set of gouache paints and paint brush which you’ll get to take home after the session.
Two sessions are available, 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm.
Price includes all materials and equipment. Space are limited so booking essential. Terms and Conditions apply.
